Libyan government delegation visits Washington D.C.

On April 20, a Libyan government delegation made a visit to the White House to discuss various topics, including the energy and production file.

This visit follows several international engagements by relevant Libyan officials to boost foreign investments in the country’s oil and gas sector. This push abroad further reflects the Government of National Unity's (GNU) urgency in signing foreign contracts and securing output increases. It also raises the question of the relationship between the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) and the National Oil Corporation (NOC).
